I graduated from Nottingham Trent University with a degree in Interior Architecture and Design and I have 18 months of experience in commercial Interior Design.

I love watching my designs become a reality and enjoy working hard to achieve that. I feel I have the ability to balance quality, cost and time to create a wonderful space and atmosphere that reflects the clients' requirements.

I worked for a year at King and Co. in Covent Garden as a Junior Designer, in this time I learnt the technical and practical side of design and project management. I worked closely with senior designers, client and contractors to achieve high quality spaces, meet deadlines and create designs quickly.

I worked at Baron Design Ltd recently in Cambridge where I assisted on commercial projects such as bars, clubs, shops and schools. My responsibilities included researching and meeting manufacturers and contractors, getting quotes and lead times, creating presentations for clients, making sure all aspects of projects were on time and on budget i.e. furniture, lighting, fabrics, materials for builders e.t.c. and generally dealing with any problems that occurred to meet the final deadline.

Finally, through out any job I've had, I have appreciated the importance of being organised; making sure everything is documented correctly and keeping copies of everything. I understand the pressure that client can put on a project by wanting information instantly and being organised just makes life easier.
