Dear Cobra Creative,

I am applying for the position of Copywriter/Communications Manager, which I found through indeed.co.uk. Currently I live in Buenos Aires working in a marketing/PR position but am looking to move to Europe (I have American and British citizenship and can legally work in the USA and the EU) and take the next step in my career.

For the past few years I have been working for a dietary supplement company who has recently opened a wellness center. Due to the expanding nature of the business I have found myself performing a variety of tasks, from interacting with customers, trade show attendance, copywriting, website creation and even making a company movie. Much of my work involves translating copy from French to English, editing translated copy and creating new copy for both print and the web. The type of copy I write varies greatly, anywhere from customer communications to blog posts to peer-reviewed articles for medical journals; I have to be able to adapt my style for each audience. This opportunity has allowed me to grow professionally but I believe it is time for me to move forward in my career and life.

I am motivated, organized, and energetic; I work well with others and am greatly looking forward to the next chapter in my life. The position at Cobra Creative appeals to me because I am looking for a greater challenge within a more creative industry and I believe this position offers that.
