About me

My interests lay in the cross over of disciplines between arts, architecture and media.

Throughout my first two years studying Architecture, and subsequent two years specialising in Interiors, my projects have led me to increasingly investigate the question of relationships and experience. This interest encouraged my decision to progress my studies into a more specific area to further investigate how new technologies can increasingly help us to build new and successful experiences between the user and design. The masters in Interaction Design at the Domus Academy Milan, pushed my understanding of current trends and awareness of new technologies to a new level. The experience also enabled me to become more adept at constructing concepts which can be feasibly realised on a practicably implementable level.

A particular area of interest to me is architectural therapeutics. How can we, as designers, ensure that the environments we design promote appropriate behaviours and stimulate specific actions. Our technologies are becoming increasingly

intelligent and sophisticated at an alarming rate of progression. I am interested in how these technologies and new

understandings can help improve our progressively manic lifestyles. In a society increasingly lead by information and communication, how can we successfully design the actualisation of these technologies to ensure they enhance our lives in an intuitive, sympathetic and humanistic way
