About me

I have a wide range of transferable skills to offer which I have gained through school, secretarial college and work. I like to learn new skills and can learn them very quickly.

I am very good at using computers and Apple Macs. I use Microsoft XP, Vista operating systems and Microsoft packages such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook on a regular basis and am confident in using these. I use an Apple IMac OSX at home, which I am also confident in using and am able to use both the computer and the IMac in their own different ways.

I have recently learnt how to use InDesign CS3, which I am confident in using and I enjoy using it on a regular basis.

I am also a capable user of Adobe Photoshop, which I very much enjoy using to manipulate photographs and create interesting designs.

I use Adobe PDF regularly to convert non PDF documents to a PDF format and also edit PDF documents.

I am confident in using the CD burning software called Nero and I enjoy creating CD covers and labels for the CDs.

I am a very organised person and can use my own initiative and work well as part of a team. I stay calm whilst under pressure. I have a typing speed of 70wpm and like to have my work completed efficiently and accurately.

I possess a nice friendly manner to both colleagues and those outside of the company. I have a good sense of humor and like to work professionally whilst enjoying my work.

I have a very good telephone manner and give very good customer service to people
