About me

I am about to graduate with First Class Honours of the BA (Hons) Design and Art Direction programme at Manchester Metropolitan University.

My degree at university has given me the opportunity to experience a wide range of design disciplines such as trend forecasting, editorial design and photography. It has allowed me to experiment with different media types and techniques. I frequently have to present my findings along with my work to other peers; therefore, I have gained excellent communication skills. Numerous projects allow me to drive design solutions, making conscientious decisions and able to analyse the results. I constantly keep up to date with the latest trends and styles on the high street and across the design field to stay commercially aware. With excellent knowledge on standard industry tools it allows me to present my findings to a professional standard using Indesign, Photoshop and Illustrator, as well as Microsoft office packages.

I am an experienced and motivated senior sales assistant with 6 years retail experience and I have excellent communicational skills both when handling customer queries and when working as part of a team. I have excellent organisational skills, this allows me to be successful in my full time studies as well as be part of a hard working retail team. I am also confident in making decisions under pressure and flexible working across different product areas and challenging fast pace environments.
