I was interested to read your advertisement for the Designer role at your company,I have great enthusiasm for design & would be thrilled to be considered for the position.

Having completed my textile degree in 2009 I have since been employed as a graphic designer, after my greeting cards won a national competition with Watermark Publishing. Both my previous employment and degree have supplied me with a broad understanding & a fine appreciation of the design industry. At Watermark I was the head designer behind their new 3D & pop up greeting card range for Clinton Cards. As lead designer, I was involved in every aspect of the range, from design to product marketing. My Christmas card designs were chosen by the managing director of Paperchase & Clintons and were marketed in their 2010 Christmas range.I am currently interning with a prestigious textile magazine named Selvedge which requires high levels of organisation and interpersonal skills. This particular role with your company has definite appeal to me both on a personal and career level. I am eager to gain experience, learn and adapt where I can in the design and product marketing industry and believe I can add value to the team through my experience and genuine enthusiasm for design.
