About me

SVP, Creative Director, Katie Dean has one of them most eclectic backgrounds in the industry. Katie started out as a cancer research scientist, before turning her strategic thinking and problem solving to the world of healthcare advertising.
Katie's experience spans numerous healthcare categories including oncology, juvenile arthritis, migraines, ophthalmology, acne and atopic dermatitis. But her passion is women's health. This is reflected in her notable successes including designing a device in partnership with the NHS that goes over a vibrator so women can perform cervical cancer screenings at home, launching MERCK UK's controversial but hugely successful contraception education platform that includes dancing eggplants and 60s porno music, and this year, Katie and her partner Clay were shortlisted for a Cannes Glass Lion for their work designing a period cup to collect menstrual blood for life-saving stem cell research. Katie has been awarded almost every industry accolade and award on offer including Campaign Magazine's Female Frontier Award. When she isn't busy winning trophies, Katie is chasing her adorable 2 year old around.
