About me

My name is Kathryn and I recently completed my BA in Mixed Media Textile Design at the University of Leeds. I will graduate on the 19th of July and will receive a 1st class Honours degree.

I have also been awarded a prize from the Worshipful Company of Painter Stainers in recognition of being the best finalist in Textile Design Printing. Currently my final year collections are selected for exhibition at the Drumcroon Art Gallery, Wigan. My work can also be viewed on *.

At present I am considering possible occupations and am aware that to proceed into a textile design career I need to obtain experience in the field. I am particularly interested in wallpaper design, interior design, surface and print design.

I am eager to gain experience and an understanding of the design industry and would be grateful if you would consider me for any appropriate junior position within your company. I am a hard working, self motivated individual who is keen to learn and contribute my skills within a team of like minded designers, and as a young graduate am willing to start at the bottom and work my way up.

I am confident in my abilities but I am aware that I have a lot to learn about the design process within a commercial setting and so would be appreciative if you would consider my attached CV.
