About me

I have over 3 years experience in design, where I have always thrived on new challenges. I am currently working at Touch Briefings as a designer, and throughout my time there, I have continually expanded my roles into projects I felt would benefit our company. I used a lot of my own initiative to redesign both print and web, including the new design for the pharmaceutical covers, media packs for bespoke publications and web advertising, ad design as well as redesigning Touchbriefings.com. I have also been responsible for producing html for newsletters and cd versions of the publications alongside regular book production.

In the past, I have the Production and Design Editor at The McGill Daily. I was responsible for everything required to produce and design a twice-weekly newspaper, which meant I learned to solve problems and organize my activities within a very tight deadline. There, I received the Sir John H McDonald award for Journalistic Excellence, given to one designer for all of Canada. Illustrating the paper while acting as a liaison between the other editors and the printers allowed me to apply many of the lessons I learned while pursuing a Marketing Degree at McGill University.
