About me
I have been inspired to pursue a career in animation and film production through watching the work of female directors in the film industry such as Ava DuVernay (13th) and Kathryn Bigelow (The Hurt Locker). Bigelow is a female director and producer not only working in the male-dominated film industry but the male-dominated Action and Crime film industry. I find their success extremely motivational.
During my time at University, I have experienced all aspects of the short-form animation and live-action production pipeline and have specialized in experimental animation. I use a variety of software including Dragonframe and After Effects. My experimental style leads to a mix of techniques being used in each project from stop motion to 2D digital. I have a keen eye for shots which has spiked an interest in Art Directing.
When I am not working on films, I like to relax watching films, reading screenplays, watercolour painting and scrapbooking. I also have a keen interest in Theatre.
