About me

I am a Graphic Designer and Illustrator for a Children's Book Publisher, with the ability to work across different areas of pre-press including detailed art working, retouching, page layouts, vector and freehand illustration, books, posters, cards and other marketing material. Experienced in many avenues of media and I am aware of the different print processes involved and the limitations for each.

A Designer with a passion for creativity and thoroughly enjoys the opportunities to advise colleagues when questioned about particular layout issues. Enjoys the responsibility of understanding the technical aspects of print and ensuring the brief is understood and executed to a high standard with very good attention to detail over all areas.

Appreciates importance of working within a team, with a good sense of humour and the ability to remain calm throughout pressured times which reflects strongly to everyone working alongside. If a problem arises, is happy to take control of the situations with a calm, methodical approach. Also highly experienced working with Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, and Microsoft.

Overall I believe I am respected as a good all rounder, I am hard working, honest and dedicated to producing accurate, print ready artwork. I have really enjoyed working in the Publishing industry and feel that my good eye for colour and composition has enabled me to be successful in this field.
