About me

Current lead designer in my first design role. 2-3 years experience solidly in this agency working on a range of projects from charitable and religous organisations to retail for luxury and fashion products. Within this role I have designed, art directed, bought print, art worked and have project managed various jobs. On a more business level I have trained 2 designers that have joined the company, putting them through the interview and work experience process.

I am looking to join a slightly larger company now in order to learn more and get more leadership and evaluation over my design projects from other designers/team members. I would also like to play an active part in any art direction as my current role allows me to be involved in all parts of the design process - from concept to being on press.

I see client liasing as a crucial part of a designers role in order to deliver the best solutions and through my work at the moment I do get one on one contact in order to progress concepts and organise strategies of implementing the design and design products. It would be shame to have to stop doing that as it is something I enjoy.
