About me
Dear Hiring Manager
I am looking to progress my career in the Design industry and would love a new challenge. With the ability to multi-task, I work well under pressure and will always get the job done be it alone or within a team. I have gained incredible experience over recent years but I am keen to enhance and broaden my skillset even further. I am confident using Adobe Creative Cloud, especially InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop and as I have always been interested in motion graphics, I am in the process of teaching myself how to use After Effects.
All forms of graphic design I feel passionate about including branding, advertising campaigns, info graphics and website design. I have worked on many projects from conceptual design to print and I have created brands, sub brands and put together and developed brand guidelines. One of the most exciting projects I worked on was a campaign for BBC Learning which was for BBC Comedy Classroom. This was to educate pupils into learning about comedy. My illustrative pencil drawn design was chosen and rolled out to schools nationwide. I produced all campaign concepts for posters, booklets, web banners, website and social media campaign. The BBC loved it so much that a new campaign was developed collaborating with Red Nose Day which again was a fun project to work on. In addition, I have worked on large brochures, documents and magazines such as training booklets for ECITB, NEFF product brochure and Polish magazine so have a good understanding of style-sheets and asset libraries.
Working at The Creative Place has helped me have a strong understanding of the printing process, best materials to use and production techniques. With a print production facility on site, this enabled me to really get involved and oversee my work from start to finish whether it be large format print, die cutting, cut vinyl, fret cut acrylic, frosting and vehicle livery. As a reliable and trusted member of the team, I always met deadlines and delivered with a fast response. I managed the studio for a year covering maternity leave which demonstrated my capabilities. I was responsible for planning and prioritising demanding work loads using a management system called Monday. This gave me chance to really share my knowledge and support my fellow colleagues.
