I believe I have the experience required for this role, with a strong background in both marketing and art and design. I also have a BSc and PhD in Biology which involved working on an antimicrobial research project with high levels of data analysis. My PhD gave me the skills required to manage a complex project. I also have a PRINCE 2 qualification showing I have a strong interest in project management, this shows I would be able to help to manage and plan multiple projects. I have also been working recently in a team of academic professionals, helping them to manage their creative digital marketing campaigns.

I also run a small online art and design business in my spare time. This involves creating websites, managing social media advertising, creating banners and logos. This has given me a strong affinity for business and marketing activities. My business includes creating designs for cards, selling physical artwork, and creating commissioned digital artwork. I use the Adobe creative suite, with a focus on illustrator and photoshop. My creative nature mixed with my analytical one creates a great problem solver.

In my current role I am responsible for producing content for conferences and for online resources. I also write product specificities and the product database. I currently am managing the re-organisation of the website resources and the creation of a content library. I write webpage content, articles, mini-reviews, blog posts, social media posts, and produce creative content such as infographics. I have also been highly involved in managing the social media campaigns at AbD Serotec, which involves designing cartoons and games. I am highly consulted on design work for both the website and for artwork. I also am involved in website development projects and SEO strategies. I am interested in digital marketing roles which allow me to use my diverse mixture of skills and to work on a variety of creative projects.
