About me

Cultural curator and project manager based in Turin, Italy, with over twenty years of experience working at the intersection of contemporary art, music, digital cultures, and emerging technologies. My professional path has developed across museums, foundations, festivals, clubs, academic institutions, and public spaces, with a strong focus on creating meaningful, context-driven experiences that connect artistic research with audiences and territories.

I hold a Master's degree in Museology from the University of Turin, developed in collaboration with Castello di Rivoli - Museo d'Arte Contemporanea. Early in my career, I worked as assistant to leading international figures in the contemporary art world, including Ida Gianelli and Carolyn Christov-Bakargiev. These formative experiences shaped a rigorous curatorial methodology grounded in institutional dialogue, research-based exhibition making, and long-term cultural vision. One of my early independent projects, Migration Addicts, was selected as a collateral event of the 52nd Venice Biennale, marking a decisive step toward an autonomous and experimental curatorial practice.

Since then, my work has evolved into a deeply cross-disciplinary approach, with particular attention to media art, audiovisual performance, live coding, immersive environments, AI-based practices, and hybrid formats that blur the boundaries between exhibition, performance, education, and nightlife. I am especially interested in how contemporary artistic languages can activate new forms of participation, knowledge sharing, and community building, both within and beyond traditional cultural institutions.

In 2018 I founded and conceived Algo:ritmi Live Experience, a cultural innovation platform and festival operating at the intersection of art, music, technology, and club culture. Through Algo:ritmi, I have curated and produced exhibitions, performances, artist residencies, workshops, public programs, and cross-reality experiences hosted by major museums, independent spaces, and clubs, including Castello di Rivoli, Musei Reali di Torino, Museo Egizio, Reggia di Venaria, OGR - Officine Grandi Riparazioni, Bunker, Azimut Club, and international digital environments. The project is supported by Regione Piemonte and Fondazione Compagnia di San Paolo and is built on a strong network of partners spanning academies, universities, research institutes, festivals, and cultural organizations in Italy and abroad. My curatorial work consciously contaminates the museum and club contexts, using sound, space, technology, and collective experience as curatorial tools.

Alongside my curatorial activity, I have extensive experience in cultural project management, fundraising, and strategic development. I have written and managed successful grant applications, overseen multi-year collaborations, coordinated multidisciplinary teams, and supervised complex productions from concept to delivery. My work often involves mentoring artists and cultural practitioners, designing educational and participatory formats, and supporting organizations in capacity building and long-term sustainability. I am particularly skilled in stakeholder relations, institutional partnerships, and network building, and I have developed strong, long-standing collaborations with key partners such as Castello di Rivoli and Fondazione Club Silencio.

I am originally from and currently based in a pre-mountain area of the Province of Turin, which has deeply informed my sensitivity to territorial contexts, cultural access, and the role of culture as a driver for social cohesion and local development. This perspective has guided my engagement with projects focused on decentralization, participation, and cultural impact beyond metropolitan centers.

Overall, my practice combines curatorial research, creative direction, and operational leadership, with a strong ethical commitment to collaboration, experimentation, and cultural innovation. I work comfortably across local and international contexts, institutional and independent frameworks, and physical and digital spaces, always aiming to create projects that are conceptually rigorous, socially relevant, and experientially powerful.
