About me
I'm an art director/creative director with about 10 years experience in advertising (print and tv), branding, editorial (magazine) art direction, online art direction and all the photoshoots, commissioning and negotiating that goes along with them.
I've worked on promotional print material and print advertising from concept through to production on the following beauty and fashion brands: Revlon, Head and Shoulders, Pantene, Avon, Skechers shape ups, Vo5, Vaseline, NEXT fashion, Pretty Polly, Clinique, Estee Lauder, Dune shoes, Venus (gilette), Herbal Essences, Max Factor, Folli Follie, Marks and Spencer, the Sanctuary and many more.
I've been working in London for the past 9 years over various magazine titles from high end luxury fashion to more mass market such as Cosmopolitan and Grazia. I've have also been brought in to redesign and strengthen the brand of two bridal magazines, Wedding Day and You and Your Wedding. I have online experience as well from my years of being an art director for the online luxury vintage website called atelier-mayer.com
I was also a creative director at the art group where I oversaw the commissioning and design of original artwork to be sold in retailers worldwide. I pinpointed and tracked trends from fashion predicting their influence on homewares and commissioned artwork accordingly. Worldwide clients include: IKEA, Habitat, Laura Ashley, Zara Home, Barnes and Noble, Marks & Spencer, Target, JCPenney, Disney Stores
I started out in new york art directing national print and advertising campaigns for clients including reebok and coca cola so I have a very good understanding regarding managing client expectations and the individual needs of each brand/client.
I have extensive experience of inspiring and leading teams, both big and small. I've got great understanding of brand values, and how to visually define and strengthen brands. I love photography, typography and making them both work for a brand. I work best being very busy.
