Graduate (2:1) in BA Contemporary Art with Visual Media and Printed Textiles at University of East London, consistent, dedicated and passionate. 4 years experience using Adobe Creative Suite. Highly skilled using Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign. Mac literate, proficient in Microsoft Office in Microsoft Office programmes including Outlook, Word, Excel and Publisher, PowerPoint.
My passion and proactive nature has led me to work with and meet creative people that I have come to admire. While working at Creativity Works London, funded by the Mayor of London and appearing on the Hackney Gazette and Evening Standard for its success. We had the opportunity to network and explore the creative industries. Here we created fun, life-sized, 'face in hole' boards for Lovebox Festival 2014 held in East London. Furthermore, we worked with the Barbican where we were given the freedom to create our own handprinted tshirts, in which we then sold at the Rams Place Fashion Event. This gave us entrepreneurial and project management skills.
Looking for a new challenge. With excellent design experience, previously working at Bethnal Green academy school as Multi Media assistant as part of a work experience placement, Creativity Works London funded by the Mayor of London and Dacapo Production studios. Here I have launched websites, edited page and page layout, created leaflets, posters and business cards using Photoshop, Illustrator and Indesign. Extensive experience of assisting on photo-shoots and retouching images for ecommerce websites at Bubba Little and Magenta Flair. Built strong relationship with employers and clients alike including designer Jo Wolf, assisting the launch of her lighting/interiors brand, creating stop motion invitation E Cards and marketing strategies for Bubba Little Children's Wear, and Codex Ink graphics and Jo Wolf studio. Experience working in a fast paced environment and with strong project management skills.
Excellent technical knowledge when setting up artwork in digital or large format, with knowledge of printing techniques and wash processes. Used large printers while studying printed textiles, I have experience using various materials such as wallpaper, fabrics, cardboard, gift wrap. Experience in print techniques such as block printing, screen printing, mono print, flocking, skilled at batik and using transfer dyes with excellent attention to detail and bags of energy. with solid understanding of repro and print processesI have experience volunteering in the print room at the University of East London, helping students to set up printers, printing in A3 - A0. I am quick at picking up new systems, experienced in setting up marketing tools, willing to learn new techniques and think in a logical manner, highly interested in expanding my skills.
