About me

Hi. Until recently, I've been working as a lecturer in Web Design, Digital Media and Art & Design, but gave teaching up to focus on my passionate interest in Web Design and Digital Graphics. I am now looking for an opportunity to enter the web design business as a junior entry-level designer.
I have good technical and creative skills in Photoshop, Fireworks, Dreamweaver, CSS, HTML, Flash (with some Actionscript 3), and Illustrator. I have both Mac and PC experience, a wealth of photo image editing skills, original content creation experience of making banners, logo's, user interface and page designs, navigational menu's, and Flash content as well. I have some understanding of basic SEO strategies and Wordpress CMS sites and currently developing my skills and knowledge of Sitemapping, User Interface Design and Javascript.
I have strong transferable skills from within publishing, design, retail administration and education and have been responsible for page layout & design and content creation as a visualiser/sub-editor for monthly magazines titles in the Art and Business fields as well as database and catalogue publications experience as an Editor for a national retail membership club.
I have a BA (Hons) in Fine Art, an MA in The History & Theory of Modern Art, an HND in Business Studies and a teaching certificate. I am flexible, a good team player, interested in learning new skills and ideas and communicate well.
