About me

As a designer, my task has been to give my clients not only what they wanted, but in many instances what they never knew they wanted until they actually saw it.

The design of business collateral or digital communications, demonstrates that as a designer, I have the expertise and the understanding to produce both creative and practical solutions to the design and communications needs of a wide range of business sectors.

My track record includes team and individual work. I was part of the team involved in winning a D&AD award for corporate identity with The Type Museum, also being part of the team that won an award for the British Medical Association NHS Hpv (Human Papilloma Virus)Campaign aimed at teenagers. Other work includes being involved in the creation of a new identity and in-house presentation system and guidelines for BBC Advertising.

My portfolio of work both traditional and digital transcends multiple sectors including: Brewing, Central Government, Not for profit, Digital Communications, Education, Fashion, Financial services, Food packaging, Internet ecommerce, Local Government, Law, Management Consultants, Professional Services, Property development, Publishing and Retail.

Over the years I have been used to sharing a common philosophy, the pursuit of excellence and the goal of success, qualities that are always shared with clients. I am fully aware that the creative, informed and unconventional thinking will yield the best returns. But as persuasive as my design solutions are, they are born of painstaking practical considerations. Always aiming to create the right solution, providing highly creative, focused, intelligent design solutions. Whatever I have produced or been involved with over the years is mindful of business realism, flexibility and steadfastness in the face of budgets and deadlines. Whether I have created solutions for the bigger corporate clients like Visa, First Great Western or large International Banks to the more individual needs of organisations such as Hidden Art and small local charities.

By getting under their skin, removing the myth and mystery of the design process and replacing it with a good deal of straightforward common sense. I can offer clients a wealth of experience in branding and design communication, proven achievement and the ability to offer their clients value. I have worked up to recently within a small organisation - small by choice, tightly run and thus able to establish and consolidate the direct and close relationships with clients that are necessary for the delivery of successful results.
