About me

Hi,
My name is Kalvyn, I'm 24, graduated at Kingston University. I have 2 years industry experience, currently working at design agency S1 in Twickenham, a company that specialises in design, advertising and marketing for the property sector. I create brands for clients such as St. George, Berkeley Homes and St Sophia Homes. This involves the signage, hoardings, brochures, guides, websites and any necessary advertising and marketing material. I love branding and typography and my ambition is to work for an agency with a diverse range of clients. As a designer I believe that my skills would lend themselves well to various types of design, i.e. print, digital and moving image. I consider myself an ideas guy, which basically means I like to come up with the big idea for any project before any actually designing begins, one simple trail of thought that when executed correctly communicates a direct message. It shouldn't matter what medium is used, as long as the idea is there.

Prior to this I have worked at The Partners, Williams Murray Hamm and Ranch Design on placements and had various freelance work. I am very confident and capable working independently on projects to tight deadlines. I have very good skills in Photoshop, illustrator and Indesign, a working knowledge of Dreamweaver and Final Cut Pro. I am extremely organised and passionate about what I do.
