Dear Sir/Madam

My desire to pursue and develop a career within the dynamic and exciting world of design has stemmed from an intrinsic passion to be creative from a young age.

Successfully qualified with a BSc (Hons) Multimedia Technology & Design, with a Second Class (upper Division) degree.
Within previous employment as lead member of the design department I have obtained a proven ability to liaise with clientele and conceptualise ideas on paper and take them all the way through to finished files for both print and online. I currently possess 5 years industrial experience using variety of design software.

Photoshop(Expert): including extensive image manipulation, compositing, format conversion and being fully adept with the pen tool (tool of choice), including numerous shape dynamic options, creating custom brushes, etc.

Illustrator(Expert): rapid creation of scalable vector graphics (full artwork/logos/etc)

InDesign(Expert): used extensively for layout work for print, sound understanding of Pre-Flight check settings (resolution/bleeds/fonts/etc)

Dreamweaver(Good) extensive knowledge and experience of site set up and management, working with HTML & CSS.

Flash(Good) Sound ability to create and animate artwork affectively and visually, incorporating shape & motion tweens. Working and growing knowledge of Actionscript.

With the constant drive to grow and learn, I am currently developing my 3D abilities within 3DSMAX and have recently delved into Maya & Google SketchUp. Furthermore I am currently expanding my coding knowledge (Including HTML5, CCS, ActionScript) as I appreciate the importance of functionality & interactivity with online media.

As a proven communicator with a keen eye for detail, I believe that I can grow to become a strong asset to your team and convert my passion for design and media into healthy returns for your firm. As demonstrated by my past transferable experiences and education, I am most capable of adapting quickly to diverse environments working effectively within teams and when required autonomously.
