About me

I am a thinker and maker, working at the intersection of brand, storytelling, technology, and design with over 18 years of experience. In 2024, I joined AKQA as Executive Creative Director, where I lead multidisciplinary teams in crafting innovative future brand experiences for prestigious clients, including Google, Visa, IWC, Nike, and Porsche.

Before joining AKQA, I served as the Global Executive Creative Director at the mobile bank N26, building "the bank the world loves to use." I led the award-winning in-house creative studio, overseeing all brand and marketing communications across 24 global markets. Collaborating closely with senior leadership, C-level executives, and stakeholders, I created impactful and distinctive campaigns and brand initiatives that sets N26 apart from any other bank.

Prior to this, I held the position of Executive Creative Director at the global creative innovation agency R/GA. My experience also includes roles as Executive Creative Director and Creative Director / Unit Lead at Jung von Matt (Hamburg, Stuttgart) and Heimat (Berlin). In these roles, I led the creation of award-winning, innovative campaigns and digital experiences for clients such as Google, Nike, adidas, Hornbach, Mercedes-Benz, and Elbphilharmonie Hamburg, orchestrating large-scale multidisciplinary creative and project teams.

My work has garnered over 160 national and international awards at festivals like Cannes Lions, Clio Awards, OneShow, D&AD, and Art Directors Club for clients including Nike, adidas, Google, Hornbach, and the Elbphilharmonie Hamburg. I've also contributed as a jury member for numerous creative awards, including the 2025 Cannes Lions Shortlist Jury for Brand Experience, the Webbys, Art Directors Club, and New York Festivals, and am a member of the German Art Directors Club.

Outside of work, I'm a passionate runner and co-founder of the Berlin-based running crew Run Pack Berlin, having completed 12 marathons. You can also frequently find me behind the shutter of my camera, capturing the beauty and energy of sports at 20fps.
