About me

Since November 2007 I have been working as a Prepress Mac Artworker for BCQ Print, a commercial printer with its own Online, Prepress, Printing and Finishing Departments.

I am honest, hardworking, methodical and used to working to tight deadlines. I work well as part of a team but am perfectly happy working on my own initiative. Twenty-six years spent in a print/repro environment has allowed me to accrue a good all round knowledge of the print/print production process. The last twenty years have been spent specifically in a repro/desk top publishing environment, producing a wide range of material. These include greeting cards, packaging, mail-order catalogues, company stationary, promotional literature, large format, and monthly publications. My daily responsibilities include artworking, troubleshooting and amending customer files, creation of all outwork files and the generation of related purchase orders, maintaining and updating databases, archiving and general file maintenance
