Dear Sir/Madam

I have enclosed my CV in speculation of Creative Retouchers position arising at your company.

I am currently Pre-press manager of Emap automotive, which is part of EMAP PLC the second largest publishers in the UK producing over 70 magazines. I was appointed to set up the in-house Retouching department to service Emap Automotives biggest titles. My objective was to improve the quality of the magazines and to reduce costs for the business. This has been successfully implemented and the department has expanded and taken on additional Emap magazines. My role as Pre-press Manager involves running a department of six retouchers, working closely with the Art Directors and photographers from each magazine. The key objectives of the department are that deadlines are met and the highest quality of work is maintained.

Over many years I have worked on high profile glamor/fashion retouching.

I have a lot of confidence in my ability as a retoucher, and are more than willing to come into your office for a day so you can test my ability.

I am looking for a new challenge, and would really appreciate any response, even if its a thank you but no thank you.
