About me

I am a freelance graphic designer with 3 years of commercial experience. I am eager to work in a design studio to broaden my design abilities and to experience new opportunities in order to develop a wider range of skills.

I am an enthusiastic and highly self motivated designer with a strong creative background developed over 11 years working in the creative industry. I have good experience of developing work from project brief through to delivery, including working towards tight deadlines. I have a strong personal commitment to producing high quality work with close attention to detail and am capable of working on my own initiative and as part of a team.

My experience has involved me in

- Speaking to clients in person / over telephone to establish project brief

- Preparing work from initial client briefing through to pre-press, design work including leaflets, brochures, letterheads, logos

- Presenting design samples to client

- Proof reading art work from printers

- In addition to working in the commercial sector I have also worked as an artist for 8 years creating art work for exhibition in galleries and in public spaces.

I have varied web design training and have the skills to build fully functional websites plus animated banners and web graphics. My software skills are Illustrator, Photoshop, Image Ready, Fireworks, Dreamweaver, Flash and Quark Xpress.
