About me

I have just arrived back to London from Budapest a couple of days ago ready to jump into a new creative project and challenge.

I created my first video for a group assignment in high school as part of my studies in film faculty and even that early I stepped out of my role as a camera man and directed, sourced the locations and edited it afterwards. I was so driven to make it good that my less motivated friends were really entertained by it, of course it was not good but it was a good start and I learned a lot from it.

At the Hungarian University of Fine Arts I had the pleasure to study the film industry, film history and film in- and of itself in detail. I was even allowed in to Andrew G. Vajna's storage at the Hungarian National Film Archive to take some old footage and experiment with it. I really enjoyed this project and created video clip altering the material itself and adding animation on to it as well. It's yet to be digitalized, but it was received really well and was exhibited at Uni.

My latest Video was a real challenge, because I had 0 budget and 0 time also none of my friends were too eager to participate as they work and study in different fields. I had to record the raw footage well, because I knew I will not have time to alter it with after effects. At that point I was in talks with cinematographer Robert Richardson about a potential job for me, he saw the video and really liked it so I feel like I did a good job there. I did everything on the set of course, from directing to cinematography and production. I have recently graduated as a Spatial designer from Northumbria University and I am ready to work hard, progress, shape and be shaped.

At university, I learned more about how the human mind reacts to design (shape, sound, colours), I even dedicated a large section of my dissertation to study of the neuroglial effects of architecture and design with advice and help from the Head of Brain Research at the Hungarian National Defence. I really enjoyed being able to look at this field from a less artistic perspective even though I feel like video is the language I can truly communicate with. I think my skills of controlling complicated situations and finding logistical solutions could be valuable in positions like this.

I have a huge passion for the medium of video and I think my slightly edgy vision could be well communicated or translated in the position. I think Video could be very powerful and it could reform brands and give a refreshed image to any company.
