About me
Hey! I'm Julia, a Brazilian designer, looking for some job opportunity across the ocean to be near my family: my brother lives in Copenhagen, Denmark, and my parents live in Porto, Portugal. Here in Brazil I'm currently responsible for all visual and graphic communication in Sesc Guarulhos, a 34k square meters cultural center opened in May 2019. Previously, worked as a graphic designer for Reserva Cultural, a movie theatre, with units in São Paulo and Niterói-RJ. I graduated from ESPM("Escola Superior de Propaganda e Marketing"), In 2014, I had an international exchange experience at University of Westminster in London, where I studied Contemporary Art and Urban Planning. With passages in the renowned design studios, Casa Rex and CLDT, I collaborated with projects for Unilever, Ambev, Gruppo Campari, Mondelez, such as national companies like Editora Veneta, Editora Todavia, Atelier Editorial and cultural institutions such as Sesc, MASP, Caixa Cultural, Municipal Theater and Museu do Ipiranga. Also worked in Brazil's biggest newspaper, Folha de São Paulo as a designer for the weekly publications Guia da Folha, Revista sãopaulo and Serafina. As a freelancer, I collaborated on projects for the Update Institute, Nielsen and Box 1824.
