About me

I am looking for a job that would combine the skills from my Art based degree (Central St Martins and Textile Design at Nottingham Trent) with my Events background and organizational skills.

I graduated with a B.A. Hons in Textile Design at Nottingham Trent University in June 2007, specialising in embroidery. Over the course of my degree, I gained skills in print, industrial, domestic and computerized embroidery machines, multi-head, CAD, and hand techniques both historical and contemporary.

I also gained experience in the luxury brand market, researching high end fashion and specializing in that area for my final year degree collection. I enjoy contextual research and trend forecasting and have gained experience at the Designer Forum in Nottingham and spending 2 years at Premiere Vision in Paris. I have a love and enthusiasm for fashion and want to use this and my inter-personal skills in the fashion industry.
