My name is Juan Pardo and am writing to you with regard to your advertisement for the post of Middleweight/Senior 3D Visualiser & Motion Artist. I was given your contact information by Creativepool. I believe that my skills make me suitable for the role and relish the opportunity to engage in new projects and continue expanding my knowledge and expertise in the field Design.

My last freelance job was in Prime Focus commercials department in London, as a 3D Generalist. My duties while at Prime Focus under the supervision of the VFX Supervisor Neil Coleman, mainly using XSI consisted of:

- Generating and tweaking existing shaders for different car surfaces

- Lighting car interiors and exteriors

- Problem solving different bugs that might appear in the scripts

- Understanding and working within the complexities of the established pipeline

- Rendering with mental ray

Previously I have been freelancing at Jellyfish Pictures as a Camera Tracker and have previously worked as a freelance XSI generalist for a variety of companies in Spain, where I was involved in animating, rendering lighting and modelling.

As in the Design aspect I have been working as a creative designer for Focus On Emotions, for two years, back in Barcelona, my duties as a Designer consisted of:

- Creating Layouts for digital animated in-store Channels

- Giving input to the designer team

- Dealing with clients

- Adapting and developing pipelines for each project

I believe that my commitment and strong work ethic make me a good fit. I work well as part of a team, while being happy to take the initiative.
