About me
I first discovered my interest in sound when I began learning the electric guitar at the age of eleven, which effectively led to learning several other instruments. As a result, I started to record with my own band whilst studying towards my GCSEs. I began to experiment with different types of recording software (such as Cubase, Logic, Ableton) and particularly how to capture the quality of timbre for the instruments which were being recorded.
This passion for recording and sound design saw me go on to study Sound Engineering and Production at Birmingham City University where I gained a 2:1 BSc (Hons).
Further to my educational studies, I have also gathered some practical work experience in a local recording studio called "A-Bomb Studios". I have been highly involved in a number of projects assisting music producers, composers and sound engineers.
I would like to offer my services to gain a valuable insight into the role of a Sound Designer.
