About me

Until recently, I was employed by the University of Northampton. For the past 6 years I was employed in the Library and had responsibility for: issuing and discharging books, ordering new stock, producing marketing and publicity material and working in several teams supporting the professional staff.

Following a reorganisation of the Library and IT Services, these two departments were merged which resulted in me being made redundant.

Having considered what I would like to do and my interests, I would very much like to develop my skills and expertise in the field of design and photography.

Therefore, the purpose of this letter is to introduce myself and enquire as to whether you currently have or in the near future will have any vacancies for someone of my skill.

I appreciate that my experience in this field is slightly limited, however, I am willing to work hard, keen to learn, flexible and enthusiastic.
