About me
With over six years of experience in the film industry, I have developed core competencies in film direction, executive production, playwriting, and screenwriting. My mission is to create meaningful and engaging stories that shed light on the social and environmental challenges faced by marginalized communities. I am currently the director and proponent of Gatito Preto, a film production company that focuses on documentary films.
My first movie, which is in progress, is a documentary about a fisherman community living near a highly desired beach in Santa Catarina. This Brazilian state is in full development state. The film follows members of this community who are struggling to live their lives in this place. I am responsible for the film's conceptualization, direction, production, and writing, as well as securing funding and partnerships. I use my skills in film direction, executive production, and screenwriting to craft a compelling and authentic narrative that showcases the realities and aspirations of the people I work with.
