My name is Joske de Beer, a healthy, honest hard working male hailing from Cape Town. Throughout this introduction letter
you will come to know what kind of person I am and what my personal and professional work ethics are and how they would be

First a bit of personal history
I was born and raised in cape town and from a very young age fell in love and became completely infatuated with the ocean. I
was a competitive surfer, sailor and diver. I received my Umalusi senior certificate through INTEC home schooling as I was a full
time surfing competitor with dreams and high aspirations in the sport. As I grew older I understood the reality of life is not
always as we dream and an education is necessity. For some reason, and to this day, I crave information, real information about
what is going on around me, so journalism came naturally.
