About me

I began my adult life sensibly enough by studying French and Italian at the University of Cambridge and the Ecole Normale Supérieure in Paris, then horrified my parents by deciding to be a photographer.

The best summary of what I do is 'storytelling with a side order of off-beat creativity'. I've shot dynamite fishing, live butterflies flying out of people's mouths, a railway line merging into a zipper, a crocodile attacking Lacoste sneakers and many other implausible scenarios.

Clients around the world choose me to create advertising and editorial images and films of people on location or in studio. Over the last few years I've also shot diptychs matching aerial images with fashion still life for brands including Pepe Jeans, Lacoste and Missoni.

So far I've produced still and moving images on location, in studio, from helicopters, boats and cranes, underwater and up mountains. If you have a challenge, I'd love to offer a creative solution.

I work with amazing post-production and CGI studios, stylists, hair/makeup artists, casting directors, location finders, animal handlers and production managers, and I can source people to coordinate all elements of a shoot.

I spent several years living in Paris and I'm English/French bilingual. I still work regularly in Paris and I'm comfortable organising productions in France and elsewhere on the continent.

When I'm not travelling I'm based in London, and spend most of my free time thinking up more ideas to turn into images.

If you'd like to get in touch, please email me via my website as I don't check messages on here.
