My name is Joseph Watson and I am contacting you regarding the Junior Designer Position

I have recently graduated from Bournemouth University with an Industrial Design degree, including a one-year working placement. Within this degree I studied some key modules, which I believe provides me with the key credentials to join the your team. These include: Materials and Processing, User Centred Design, Design Projects and Research based projects. I have also learned the properties and applications of a range of materials within my projects and how these play an important role in the protection, comfort and ease of use for consumers. As a sporting enthusiast, I realise from first hand experience the importance of human factors within products.

After gaining experience within a CNC machining company, I extended my materials knowledge through assisting and leading a number of fabrication processes. Shortly after this I gained some industry standard experience as a CAD technician. During this period of work I learned that it was very important to maintain a high level of accuracy under pressure, maintain a good level of time management and to maintain the same level of enthusiasm and passion throughout each project. These are all skills, which I believe are essential within modern day companies.

I am now looking to secure a challenging and rewarding role, which I believe this position would provide me with. My skills set, passion and hard working nature would make me a first class candidate for this job role, in which I would be an asset to your team.
