About me

My name is Jose Rodriguez and I am from Barcelona (Spain). I arrived in London 9 years ago after finishing a degree in History of Art to study Fashion at Central Saint Martins, which I also completed successfully.

My studies have given me a strong approach to creativity and visual aesthetics, and when studying the latter I developed a great interest in graphics. Through my portfolio presentation I taught myself how to use design programs such as Photoshop and Illustrator, which helped me to develop a freelance career as a graphic designer.

I've worked for a wide range of clients: events companies, fashion trend forecasting agencies, Blue chip companies such as MTV, Institutions like NHS, collaborations with United Visual Artists and others. All this has proven my versatility, creative flair and ability to please clients. One common ground on all of my work for each of these companies is the introduction of a strong visual concept to respond to their needs.

I think of myself as a good listener, a very empathic individual, a good communicator on a personal and a professional level. Being able to listen and understand the needs of the client, which is as important as being able to interpret them both verbally and visually.

It's been two years that I have been working as a graphic designer on a freelance basis but I long to be part of a dynamic and creative team .
