My name is Jordi Paris, a sound engineer hailing from the vibrant streets of Barcelona, with a love for capturing the essence of sound that knows no bounds. My journey into the world of sound began in the bustling metropolis of London, where I immersed myself in the art and science of audio engineering with a passion that has only grown stronger over the years. Fueled by a deep-seated curiosity and an unrelenting drive for sonic excellence, I find inspiration in the myriad of sounds that surround me, from the gentle whispers of wind to the crashing waves along rugged coastlines. My main passions lie in the realms of Location Sound Mixing and Sound Design, where I thrive in the challenge of capturing and sculpting dialogs, effects and soundscapes with one goal in mind: Transport audiences as close as possible to the action they are seeing on screen that will eventually inspire them to get out and feel new experiences. Whether it's orchestrating the perfect blend of sounds on set or delving into the intricacies of sound design in post-production, I find fulfillment in every aspect of the audio creation process. Moreover, my extensive experience in the field has seen me collaborating on numerous projects with diverse clients across the globe. From bustling metropolises to remote wilderness, I've lent my expertise to a wide array of endeavors, each presenting unique challenges and opportunities for sonic innovation. Living in Barcelona has provided me with the flexibility to traverse Europe and beyond, allowing me to explore new landscapes, cultures, and sonic environments. Beyond the confines of the studio and the set, you'll normally find me embracing the great outdoors, indulging in my love for adrenaline-fueled sports such as surfing, snowboarding, mountain biking, and climbing. All of these combined with yoga and meditation. It's amidst the thrills of these activities that I find my creativity soaring to new heights, each adventure serving as a muse for my sonic explorations. With an unwavering commitment to capturing the essence of sound and a boundless love for the great outdoors, I continue to craft auditory landscapes and make them resonate with depth and emotion, inviting listeners to embark on a journey of sonic exploration unlike any other.
