About me
I began my professional training in Visual Arts at the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. A filmmaker by vocation and an amateur musician, I am currently completing the Official Master's Degree in Film Studies and Visual Cultures at ESCAC (Terrassa, Spain).
For over ten years, I have been creating audiovisual works for theatre companies in Chile, both independently and through Rizomas, an arts agency and production company of which I am a co-founder. Through this production company, I have participated in projects such as the short film Huantajaya: In Memory of the Women of Alto Hospicio (2021), directed by Gabriel Valenzuela, and the short documentary Antonella: My Hands, My Voice (2022), directed by Francisco Jorquera, which received the award for Best National Documentary at the 9th Todos Somos Diferentes International Film Festival (Antofagasta, Chile) and was selected for six international festivals.
My work explores memory through archival images and contemporary filming, understood as a process of updating childhood and traumatic experiences. In this transitional space, where genres are still in formation, my perspective takes on a feminist dimension. Through the act of remembering, I combine documentary and fiction, filling the gaps of memory with acts of imagination, abstract sensations, and affective echoes.
