About me
Who.
I live and breathe design and marketing. I believe design shouldn't be complicated or busy. I am extremely creative and open minded. I am ready to listen and to learn, I am driven, mentally tough, confident, willing to try and to fail, determined to succeed, some times arrogant, all the time humble and most importantly ready to work hard. I laugh a lot, I rarely cry and my day does not feel complete until I have had at least one piece of chocolate.
Why.
I am a former university volleyball player; which means I am competitive and fearless. If there is something I don't know how to do, I absolutely, positively will figure it out. I currently work as the Graphic Designer for the Arlington Heights Park District; where I get to infuse fun and recreation on a daily basis. I am responsible for the design and production of the quarterly program guides (each over 100 pages) which gets distributed to 78,000 residents each quarter. In addition to design and distribution, I have improved the production process, time-lines and marketing collateral. I am also responsible for the creation of new organization/program logos, web banners, social media, interactive brochures and promotional pieces.
When.
I am available at anytime for a phone interview. In the meantime, I invite you to view my online portfolio at jordanntomasek.com.
