About me

I started out as a freelance technology writer covering the Teen Web Conference for The Next Web and working with the Buffer team on their blog before moving on to cover the North East startup and technology scene with Betarocket.View my updated portfolio.

Currently, I work for Shout, an award-winning creative digital agency located by Newcastle's Quayside occupied within their online marketing team. I'm also the Digital Director at Magnate Magazine, a freemium magazine targeted towards the ABC1 demographic working in some of London's top 100 office locations.

When I'm not busy, I'm writing design tutorials and sharing things that inspire me as Founder and Editor in Chief of Worn Canvas. I also have a great passion to mix and collaborate with other creative & digital folks over beers (and other light refreshments) at tech events such as Tomorrow's Web and Epic Times.
