About me

I'm a Creative Director with roots in art direction and over 25 years' experience in the advertising world. At Gravity Global - ranked among the top 3 B2B agencies worldwide - I lead a regional team of art directors, copywriters, retouchers and illustrators, working closely with our creatives in the London HQ department as well as teams across the US, all as part of a wider award-winning global network.

In the last few years, I've expanded my skills into TV and film directing, creating global campaigns for a range of business and consumer brands including Jupiter Asset Management, HiBob HR Solutions and, most recently, Thermomix all-in-one cooker. I've always believed great ideas can start with a sketch, a storyboard or a spark in conversation - and seeing them through to the screen has been one of the most rewarding chapters of my career so far.

I'm equally comfortable rolling up my sleeves and being hands-on in Adobe CC, Figma or Premiere Pro, as I am directing a global shoot, shaping an integrated campaign, or mentoring a creative team. Along the way, I've been fortunate to see that work recognised with over 100 industry and creative awards - something I value most as a reflection of the teams and collaborations that made those ideas possible.

Throughout my career I've worked across every channel - from film and digital to print and beyond - bringing ideas to life with clarity, craft and a sense of fun. I've also sat on the judging panel for both the Creativepool Annual and the Telly Awards which keeps me inspired and connected to the wider creative community.

Specialties: art direction, idea generation, storyboarding and directing for film, running global shoots, graphic design, team leadership...and being unapologetically Northern. Outside the office you'll find me captaining the Hastings basketball team (still holding 5'9", just about), and keeping it real.
