About me

I'm Jonny, an enthusiastic, hard working and fast learning recent graduate of Loughborough University Design School. I'm looking for any experience within a design company whether it be internships or full-time positions and am able to start immediately.

I have a wide ranging portfolio, including my Final Year Project, several interaction design projects, Design Week and an Electro-Mechanical Project. I have many key skills as detailed on my CV, these mainly include design related software & model making. However I also have more general transferable skills gained from my many positions of responsibility held whilst at university. Further to this I also run a prominent charity in my area which I have helped build over the last 3 years.

I like to enjoy a good work-life balance - participating in several sports, discovering and listening to new music and socialising with different friend groups. This along with my afore mentioned activities has given me the ability to engage with wide ranges of people in many different settings.

Skills

1. Competent using Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and Flash, 2. Some experience in Programming in C & constructing electronic circuits., 3. Computer Literate - experienced in the use of Microsoft Office, Support Desk, SAP software, 4. Model Making - from basic card and foam to metal, woodwork and high density foam of high accuracy and high finish using lathes, milling machines and bandsaws., 5. Experienced with CAD (Creo/Pro Engineer) in creating 3D parts, drawings and machine path files., 6. Able to work both as part of a team and on own initiative, 7. Project Management - experience from Final Year Project, 8. Time management - able to work to strict deadlines., 9. Experienced at Public Speaking, 10. Leadership - gained from running of fresher’s week for my hall and overseeing my hall’s committee throughout the year., 11. Customer Service
