Jonathan's work
About Jonathan
After gaining a Product Design degree from Plymouth University (1st class honours) I was immediately hired into a role as a product designer in a large water sports company. The role has seen me take designs from concept sketches through development and into manufacture using essential design skills, prototyping, CAD/CAM and several foreign factory visits to Asia to oversee production.
Along with my professional experience I have successfully undertaken freelance commissions. The most recent commissions have been for the One Run for Boston Event. The event organisers wanted a sculptural GPS tracking Baton to be held by 3000 runners as they ran non-stop in a relay across America from LA to Boston. The designs have been featured in UK & International press. They are now held in in the Boston Athletic Association hall of fame. The designs have also seen me nominated to become a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts.
