About me

I have a broad range of experience ranging from design and artwork for packaging to corporate identity & corporate communications. I posses a good range of digital media experience, knowledge and skills due to previous work in various design studios, having worked in the design industry for a number of years. My experience has come from the artworking end of the spectrum and over the years has moved into the design aspect. My last position was in a very busy print production studio providing design and artwork for our clients, either to be printed in-house or at a larger print studio. I am highly proficient in QuarkXPress, InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator. I have moderate knowledge in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Adobe Go Live and Dreamweaver.

I have experience in Computer Technology, setting up operating systems, networking, record and book keeping. I possess good administrative and customer service skills. In my last role as a Creative Artworker I have produced brochures, leaflets, report & accounts, stationery, booklets, magazines, flyers, and exhibition material.

My experience is based on a combination of full time employment with design consultancies such as River Creative and eyeglass g design, print production studios such as Kall Kwik, as well as working in a freelance capacity. My experience and training in print production and print production techniques has given me deep knowledge of the best practice when it comes to creating artwork. I can knowledgeably and pro-actively liaise with production houses to discuss their requirements and produce design and artwork in formats set up according to their print brief requirements.

I have Apple Mac and Windows PC training. I possess excellent communication and organisational skills with a consistent, efficient, high standard of work, paying particular attention to detail. I am good at multi-tasking and prioritising a heavy workload. A great team player with an adaptable, flexible approach and the ability to use my own initiative. I have good researching skills and take the initiative in continual self development.
