About me
My career in advertising began as an Office Junior. My role here included dark room work, pre-mac paste up artwork and other general studio duties. During my time here I learnt the basics of the Apple Mac and managed to obtain a job as a mac artworker where I mainly worked on the press advertising for a major UK housebuilder which at one stage consisted of over 70 press ads per week.
In 1996 I moved to a position as a Senior Mac Artworker. During my 10 enjoyable years there I worked on a vast array of clients. I produced the artwork for a 360 page catalogue from the start and was responsible for the artwork for many retail leaflets with million+ print runs. I experienced working on all aspects of artwork including packaging.
In 2006 I made the leap to join the freelance ranks. Since then I have continued to work on several ads, brochures, magazines and newsletters from concept right through to the production and distribution of the finished product.
