About me

My name is Jon Watts and I'm a conceptual Art Director. I've worked
above the line, below the line and in the last 10 years I've been doing
integrated campaigns for many blue chip clients in many markets, as my
cv will show. I have run creative departments of up to 20 people. When
at Carlson I built my own creative department and had the pleasure of
seeing my group win creative awards both nationally and
internationally. I have good leadership skills and an effective
management style of encouragement and empowerment. Training courses
include Stephen R Coveys 'The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People' and
his follow up course of 'Principle Centered Leadership. I've run
traffic departments, been reponsible for creative budgeting and have
had a lot of art buying experience. At the heart of it all, though, my
first love is creating strong concepts and seeing them through to the
finished article, It's why I started in this industry and still what I
strive to do, whether I'm running a department or not. I'm looking to
work with people who believe in the strength of great ideas to produce
great creative work.
