About me
I would describe myself as a 3D digital artist with over eight years' experience of using the latest 3D Design, fabrication and creation technologies to create new and innovative designs. I'm a very enthusiastic person who's always eager to further my expertise and to use it in areas that initially it wasn't intended for. Some areas that I have already experimented in applying my skills include the areas of Fashion, Product, interaction, Architecture and Film. I have experience in working on a number of high profile projects and keeping to tight schedules. In a recently completed project I collaborated alongside Johnson Banks on the world's first 3D printed alphabet Arkitypo which was featured in the January 2012 edition of Creative Review and has been displayed at an exhibition at Arup's HQ in London. I have been mentioned in a number of articles in the national tabloids concerning the latest innovations in 3d printing. I also appeared on National television describing the latest 3D printing technology using a hand held scanner.
I am always curious to learn about new technology and am an energetic, self-motivated, fast learner with a passion for remarkable design. I have a strong background in design and obtained a degree in Design Engineering at Bournemouth University and an MSc in Rapid Product Development at De Montfort University. Over the last 3 years I have run my company Anything 3D while teaching Product design and Architecture courses at Ravensbourne College. I'm always keen to explore new areas of design and have taken on a variety of commissions whilst able to use the latest workshop technology at Ravensbourne. My skills lie in utilising the latest technologies both in software and hands on machinery and applying them to my projects to acquire the highest standards quickly and efficiently. I have experience in project management running teams of students on live projects at Ravensbourne which
lately has included designing jumps for the Olympic cross country course. I'm always looking to expand my experiences within the world of design.
