Hi

My name is Jon, I am the Promotions/Marketing Co-ordinator of Velvet PR and i currently work directly for exclusive members clubs which include; Embassy, Dolce, Movida,Icon and many others on a weekly basis. My main duties include, co-ordinating the events as well as managing a team of 8 promoters to ensure maximum turnout for the events and generally making sure the events run smoothly, from hosting V.I.P's to organizing door staff e.t.c

There is also allot of sales involved with these events from trying to secure sponsorship to catering, right through to getting the events in the press.

There is also allot of admin involved from managing a database of over 5000 clients right through to collating and organizing promoters guestlists and liaising with the venues.

I set up Velvet PR myself and have taken it from an unknown guestlist provider to now being one of the best alongside companies like G.L.M and others which have been running for many more years.

Before Velvet PR was set-up i was an agent for the countrys biggest character modelling agency UGLY models, where i was involved with all stages of the booking process right through to invoicing clients as well as managing the new faces division to ensure the 09-10 model book came out on time working to a strict deadline.

I am constantly on the phone as well and i have an excellent telephone manner, i deal with agents and celebrities daily a
