About me

I adopt a user-centred approach when designing for the public whether it is presented as hard copy or in digital format. I can provide skills and experience to produce interactive designs and strategies that would engage the end user.

I am innovative, enthusiastic, flexible and creative and I can work individually on projects or jointly as a team member with other colleagues and third party stakeholders. I project manage all of my work and work closely to budgets and time-scales. I am a positive and pro-active person with a 'can do' attitude and this is reflected in my approach towards all of my projects. I have worked as an in-house designer for a number of clients, companies and agencies.

This has provided me with a wide range of skills and working experience as a graphic designer and web multimedia developer. I was an in-house web designer (with a graphic design background) with Bristol City Council in a marketing and communications team. I designed and built non-council branded websites, micro-sites to promote services or events and have been involved in developing on-line viral campaigns.

I have extensive experience in using desktop publishing applications, new media and multimedia software e.g., QuarkXpress, Adobe Creative Suite (that includes Flash, Action Script 3, Illustrator and Photoshop), HTML, CSS, Drupal, Wordpress, Microsoft Office for both Windows PC and Applemac platforms.
