About me

Dear Employer/Agency,

I am currently working in an employed role in a busy business to business design environment with a strong focus on design for print. I also work as a freelance designer/photographer and have done for the past 7 years. I have a vast range of repeat clients all with completely different needs. Previous to that I spent 5 years working as a Graphic Designer in a high pressure office environment with a strong focus on dealing direct with clients to develop an interpret briefs to produce designs for print.

I have a HNC in Graphics and a BA hons in Photography.

I have consulted on large print exhibitions for a national museum, produced a number of books for publication and managed the day-to-day print output of a large office. I was responsible for gathering quotes and samples to produce an outcome in budget and to a high standard finish.

I am fluent in Photoshop and InDesign and have a basic working knowledge of Dreamweaver and Illustrator. I am able to work on either Mac or PC and have experience of using FTP servers.

I think my mixed creative background makes me ideal for this position, as I will understand the workloads and demands on all members of the team. I have the experience needed dealing with clients, life briefs and print management to make the most of this position.
